Reiki is a treatment for the improvement of the body, the soul, the heart and the mind. It’s a ‘medicine’ which brings healing-energy there where it is needed.
The free Ecyclopedia ‘Wikipedia’ explains it as follows:
Reiki (霊気) (/ˈreɪkiː/) is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. Since originating in Japan, reiki has been adapted into varying cultural traditions across the world. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is supposedly transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
Dr. Usui – the founder.
Dr. Mikao Usui (1865-1926) probably never anticipated that the method of treatment he discovered would get so much imitation. Throughout the world, specially trained Reiki practitioners (Reiki Healers) apply the powerful and above all positive method by means of ‘laying on of hands’. With the help of the hands and using special symbols and mantra’s, the (positive) power is sent through the body. This power does it’s job and applies where it is needed.
The positive effect
Reiki works on a spiritual and emotional level and has an undeniably positive effect on the physical and mental health of humans, animals and plants. It is beautiful and often surprising how the reaction and experience is after a treatment. A process of energy flowing through out the body. This is what Reiki does, from the head till the toes, from head till the tail, from root to leaf. Through the hands of a Reiki healer, a great experience is created, often accompanied by all sorts of emotions. Reiki is able to create happiness, peace, balance and a better health.
A Reiki healer and his experience
Frank M. Bosch (Reiki Healer, www.reikimoments.nl): “It is really fantastic to help people with complaints, but I also see people coming back several times because they find it such a relaxed and energetic experience.”
They indicate that they can handle their problems and life again. “I never need a confirmation or a comment,” continues Frank M. Bosch, “but usually reactions are immediately given, such as “it felt like my whole leg was being lifted and my foot bent down”, or “it was tingling”, “It got warm”, or “it felt very nice”, and that’s nice to hear because people come for it.
Frank M. Bosch: “I often feel where the pain is and notice that the energy will flow enormously at those particular places. My fingers then tingle and that means that a lot is happening at that moment. I also sometimes observe other complaints such as dizziness. Of course, treatment with a regular doctor or specialist should never be discontinued. I see it as a total. As a combination. ”
The Reiki-healers – all over the world
The intention of them is to create relaxation, peace and well-being and to promote and stimulate the healing power of everything that lives. There are wonderful experiences of ‘all over the world’. And that not strange because Reiki is purely positive. And fortunately that means that millions of satisfied and happy people are treated. That is what it’s about. That is what matters.
Reiki. Nonsense all?
Some people find this type of treatment nonsense, but also other techniques, bad nonsense, hoarse, money-beating, ridiculous or even something of the devil.
Everyone is of course free to have questions about it, to comment on it and to keep his or her opinion on it. One thing is certain: you do not have to believe in it. The purpose of Reiki is only to help people, animals and all what lives.
